Wanting to hole up somewhere in the beautiful village of Foini countryside for a few days, to enjoy the natural scenery and fresh pure air? A delightful and peacefully holiday cottage newly refurbished located in a picturesque, historic village of Foini, overlooking fields and mountains, yet with all the modern amenities you would want. Phini is considered to be one of the most naturally beautiful areas of the island, thanks to a picturesque waterfall, pine thickets and forests.

Sit at the huge patio and enjoy a glass of wine, or relax at our large table which is perfect for gathering around for a social dinner. You’ll love our place because of our huge garden in pine forests, the ambience and outdoor space. The living room is comfy and cosy, perfect for snuggling down to watch a movie or just chilling out at the huge balcony enjoying the spectacular view. There are three medium-sized bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. All the bedrooms are stylishly decorated and equipped with two double and two single beds ready to accommodate a maximum of 6 and direct access to a big terrace that offers you a fantastic panoramic view that takes a breath. Children are welcome, a travel cot and extra beds can be arranged if notice is given well in advance. The kitchen is fully fitted and all the bedrooms have plenty of wardrobes and draw space. Fresh bedding and towels are supplied for your use and can be restocked/laundered weekly for longer stays at an additional charge. Periodic cleaning services can be arranged for longer stays, also at an additional charge.

Phini sits at an altitude of 920 meters on the Troodos mountain range, just 44 km from Lemesos town. The village itself has two restaurants but as well the surrounding villages have a selection of traditional pubs and restaurants. Just visit Platres village in July and August and you will be amazed. Platres is only 5 minutes away by car from Phini.

The village itself is well worth visiting, but there are several particular spots that you would love to visit. Interesting sights include the Pilavakeion Museum - a private museum of folk art - workshops for Loukoumi and pottery making, and the main church of the village dedicated to the Holy Cross. At the entrance of the village, there is an old fountain, whilst close to the village is the beautiful waterfall of Hantara. The village holds the Foini Traditional Festival on the first Sunday of every August. A traditional bazaar is held in the centre of the village with local products such as loukoumi, pottery and fresh fruit, whilst there is also a programme of folkloric entertainment. The village also celebrates its harvest with a Grape Fest in September. The monastery of Panagia Trooditissa is found in the north of the village and the church of Agioi Anargyroi - also a monastery - is found in the southeast. The waterfall of Foini, situated in the -all-green -area of "Hantara", completes the picturesque beauty of the village or just relax in our cosy cottage after exploring the beautiful mountain area of Troodos.
