Estia Anogaia Cottage is a traditional Cypriot cottage which was built circa 1800. It has been lovingly converted into two beautiful cottages giving guests a peaceful and relaxing break where they can soak up the country atmosphere. Your first-floor accommodation comprises of two spacious bedrooms with comfy traditional-style wrought-iron beds and plenty of wardrobe space. A travel cot is provided for our younger guests and a double sofa-bed is also available on request in the living area. As well as being part of the main house, you will have on the front of your own private garden entrance and behind a huge orchard with all kind of native trees. Guests are welcome to explore it. It has a modern fully-equipped kitchen, with an electric hob and cooker, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, washer, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub so that you can enjoy a relaxing soak after a day's sight-seeing. A hairdryer is also provided for your convenience. The living room offers access to a big terrace where guests can enjoy an amazing view of the surroundings or a colourful sunset. A stereo with CD and radio, and a TV and DVD are provided in case you wish to relax with some music or a movie in front of the fire at the end of your day. A selection of cookery books, novels and books in several languages of historical interest are also available for our guests to enjoy during their stay.

The cottage is located on a unique area of incredible natural beauty with its picturesque landscape and an extraordinary array of flora and fauna. The region contains numerous neolithic tombs and monasteries like the very well known one of Machairas which is located on the slopes of Kionia, in the valley of Machairas mountains. Machairas Monastery is one of the three Royal and Stavropegic of the island and houses the miraculous icon of Panagia (the Virgin Mary) of Machairas, which is attributed to Agios Loukas (Apostle Luke) the Evangelist. Beautiful Governor's beach with its spectacular backdrop offers a less crowded seaside experience and is popular with surfers, swimmers, bikers and walkers alike. Follow the coast road with its stunning views east to visit the fishing villages of Zygi.
